The book is well organized in seven chapters and covers all the important topics in the field of electric network.<br/><br/>The text starts with the fundamentals of network synthesis and discusses about the network functions in details followed by synthesis of one-port networks and transfer functions. Then the text gives a glimpse into the important filters used in network design. The performance of any network depends on how well it can perform its functions and its robustness despite distortions. Parameters like sensitivity and gain are then dealt with in detail. The book is intended for those readers who are well-versed with the basic concepts of electrical network and filters. It aims to provide a platform for advanced network synthesis techniques. Filters, the essence of any network design, have been appropriately handled in the book.
