The present title " Electrical Engineering" has been designed to serve as a text book to meet the requirements of under-graduate students of engineering of all Indian Universities. The aim of bringing out this text is to focus those aspects of electrical engineering that are particularly valuable to bright young scientist,scholar and engineering students who have tha inclination to be innovative and creative. Keeping thai spirit alive, this book has been compilated to meet the long felt needs of the students. Every attempt has been made to make each chapter independent and self-contained, however, for use in any order or combination. Special care has been taken to co-ordination the account with the figure. It is hoped that the present book will serve the purpose of those for whom it is written.
The primary goals of this project has been to provide useful information in sample and illustrative language. The organisation of the material is largely traditional and the order in which the chapter are arranged is a matter of personal choice.
